About Me

My photo
Welcome to the travels of Doug and Nada. We love the Lord and are traveling full-time in our motorhome with our German Shepherd, Homer. Homer is the star attraction wherever we stop and he gets us talking and sharing with many people. DON'T FORGET: YOU CAN ENLARGE EACH PHOTO BY CLICKING ON THE PHOTO! The newest blog post is at the top and they go back in time as you scroll down. If you want to see each photo larger, you can just click on the photo and it will enlarge. If you decide to leave a comment, don't forget to sign it so we know who left it. ;-) Folks: This site is under continual construction as we travel and see this beautiful country. Check back for more updates and photos. Thanks for visiting with us! May God bless your day!

Itchy to travel

It is July 23rd and we have been parked here at Pinch Pond for 2 months. I haven't been posting because it is just normal daily living – So no photos on this post. ;-(

We have been attending a weekly Bible-study at the Baptist church we have been attending here. The folks have been a real blessing to us and the study has been challenging. Doug is selling the aerial photos – Some days are super days with $1000 in sales and some days are duds with $0 in sales but all in all it is very good income. While Doug is out selling, I am working on CHAP preparations for next year's convention. Lots of changes are in store for the convention. The location will still be at the State Farm Show Complex but we moving to a whole different section of the complex – A section that is currently under construction so a lot of time needs to be spent figuring out what new signage needs to made and figuring out where everything will go.

Both of us are itchy to be on the move again! We decided to take Oma on her yearly RV jaunt with us in August instead of September this year. We are going to go for a whole week this year down to Nashville, TN to see her nieces, Stormie and Susan and their families. Oma has not seen them since before her brother Herbert (Stormie and Susan's dad) died over 10 years ago so she is excited to go for this visit. We'll also make some other stops.... Maybe Pigeon Forge or Oak Ridge in Tennessee or the Creation Museum in Kentucky. Time and our route will determine what we do!

Stop back again – We'll have more news for you then!
