My photo
Welcome to the travels of Doug and Nada. We love the Lord and are traveling full-time in our motorhome with our German Shepherd, Homer. Hummers glore

Once again, I hung my hummer feeder on our motorhome window. Since the new camera Doug got me for Christmas as continuous shutter, I was finally able to get some decent photos of our visiting hummers.

In the photo above, you can see the hummer's tongue in the red nectar as a gray line below the hummer. In the photo below, the tongue is retracted. If you click on each photo, the photo will enlarge and you can see this much better.

In this photo, she is looking in the window at me.

July 4th on the 5th

Josh and Vicky invited some family to their place for a picnic. It was a beautiful day - not too hot. Of course, family meant Homer, too, so he could visit with Briar, Josh and Vicky's yellow lab. Homer turned 6 years old on the 4th of July so 1 1/2 year old Briar can tire the old guy out! He slept the whole way home from the picnic, all night, and all day today!

In the photo below, going away from the camera, are Roger and Liz - Vicky's mom and dad, Oma Rothgaber, Josh, and Vicky. The food was great and so was the conversation!
