About Me

My photo
Welcome to the travels of Doug and Nada. We love the Lord and are traveling full-time in our motorhome with our German Shepherd, Homer. Homer is the star attraction wherever we stop and he gets us talking and sharing with many people. DON'T FORGET: YOU CAN ENLARGE EACH PHOTO BY CLICKING ON THE PHOTO! The newest blog post is at the top and they go back in time as you scroll down. If you want to see each photo larger, you can just click on the photo and it will enlarge. The Balloon Festival in Albuquerque

We traveled through Albuquerque early on yesterday morning. We had stayed at a Walmart in Grants, NM about an hour west of Albuquerque along with 12 other motorhomes! Most of us were up early and on our way by 7 AM. Our goal was to get across New Mexico by 1 PM in order to set up camp in time to see the Penn State game, Last week we didn't watch the game due to being at our conference and they lost without us. So we wanted to make sure that didn't happen again. As we drove, I watched the pregame stuff while Doug listened to it. Satellite in motion is great! Well as we came off the mesa west of Albuquerque, we could see the 500+ balloons taking off on the first day of the Balloon Festival. It was quite a site which pictures don't really do a justice to it.
