After yesterday, a day of pouring rain and thunderstorms and 5" of much needed rain, the sun came out this morning and humidity was gone. We took our time breaking camp because we knew we were only going 28 miles to the south side of Galveston. As we headed south to Texas City, more refineries were in view. After all, 25% of the oil refined in the US is refined in the Houston port area.

The drive across the causeway was beautiful with the sun glinting on the waves. I just love the seawall in Galveston! No guardrail just a beautiful ocean view!

I got my water walking in at our new campground - many thanks to my friend Marilyn in Pennsylvania getting me water walking this past summer! Here is a photo of the lovely pool and spa at our campground, Jamaica Beach RV.
