We did our first afternoon bird feeding on Monday and it was quite hot! In the upper 80's and the mosquitos were out in full force. Most of the birds were someplace cool since we didn't see anything unusual. Even the green jays did not announce our presence. Here is a photo of a furry guy enjoying the droppings from the feeders.
