The campground scheduled us for a tour of the property. We thought it would be just an informative tour showing us around and explaining what activities are available to us - they have free bikes, free kayaks, an ATV that seats 4, a pontoon boat, etc. The tour included the orientation but also included sales pitches for the complex where there are many choices to make this a winter base (brick homes in different price ranges, 1200 square foot homes with covered RV ports, deeded RV sites with casitas, etc. Mike, the owner, took us on the tour in a specially made safari vehicle.

Above and below are views of the Rio Grande. At this point, the river is about 25 feet deep due to a dam down river.
The hacienda across the river in Mexico was beautiful. The photo doesn't really do it justice.
