We're on the move again! Westward ho! After spending the first night in Columbus, OH we moved on to Shipshewana, Indiana. We feel like we are back home in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. This is Amish land all over again. According to the Amish here, the Amish in Lancaster are more old-fashioned than they are here. The average Amish farm here is just 5 acres. Most of the Amish have gone to trades and working for others. We had ordered some new recliners to match the sofa and captain chairs for our motorhome from Lambright Comfort Chairs. We wanted to be comfortable when watching a movie or a football game (and Doug needed a comfortable recliner to take his nap in ;-). This is a photo of Doug hooking-up our car to our motorhome after we spent the night dry camping in front of Lambright's shop. Notice the "road" is dirt but the parking in front of the shop is concrete.

This photo is Vernon Lambright riding away on his bike.

While in Shipshewana, we took a 2 hour drive up to Gull Lake in SW Michigan to do a site inspection. Next year one of the national conferences for state homeschool leaders will be at Gull Lake and the other conference will be just north of Chicago.

Check back often because for the next two months we will be on the move and I'll be posting photos from our sites. Blessings on your day for now!
