The Florida weather is beautiful. We have been having day temps in the low 80s and nights in the 50s. It is just great. Here are a few photos from my morning walk around the campground today.
Doug has been challenged by the roads in this area. Once off the main highways, the country roads are nothing more than two tire tracks of sand. They really look like someone's driveway going through the trees and underbrush. Add to that the fact that most of the homes have fencing and gates on the driveways which make it hard to show the homeowners the picture of their home. We are in rural horse country where most of the country is horse ranches.
When I uploaded the photos above, I discovered I had photos of the newest addition to the Rothgaber family on my iphone... His name is Briar and he is Josh and Vicky's new puppy. I am sure he is a lot bigger now since these photos are from before we headed south over a month ago. He is so cute! We wanted to kidnap him and take
him with us. He and Homer got along fine although Homer gave him a growl when Briar kept jumping up to bite at Homer's mouth. One growl was all it took for Briar to decide that wasn't a good idea!
